A fresh new look for professional performance

Nielsen new packaging labels

We are delighted to announce that Nielsen Professional will imminently start to roll out a refreshed brand identity and updated labelling across its entire professional cleaning and maintenance range. With a cleaner, more modern design, improved readability and full alignment with the coming CLP 2025 labelling requirements, our products are purpose-built to support our customers now and for the future.

The new CLP 2025 labelling requirements come with new minimum font size rules, increased line spacing, and specific text formatting. There are also changes to hazard communication, including the introduction of new hazard classes and updated pictograms, hazard statements, and precautionary statements. These rules are part of a larger revised EU regulation, with some obligations taking effect in January 2027, while products already on the market will have phase-out periods.

So What’s new?

You’ll start to see a fresh new label design across all our professional-grade products – cleaner typography, better contrast, and a more streamlined layout that makes everything easier to read at a glance.

We’ve also updated how information is organised. All safety and hazard details now follow the upcoming CLP 2025 guidelines, using clearer sans-serif fonts, black text on a white background, and spacing that makes important details stand out.

For products that need more languages or extra information, we’ve introduced fold-out labels, too. These meet the new front- and back-cover requirements while giving you all the space you need. The rollout is happening gradually across the full range, so you’ll start noticing the new designs appearing through our authorised distributors as current stock sells through.

What you need to know

✔ The product formulation remains unchanged. Performance, quality and compatibility remain at the high standards you expect from Nielsen Professional.

✔ The new labels are designed to support easier identification, safer handling and ensure that you’re fully compliant when using our products in regulated environments.

✔ For distributors, stockists and professional users, we recommend you update your promotional materials and training references to reflect the new look and ensure any old-label stock is clearly identified.

✔ For products already in market: as per the transitional requirements of CLP 2025, older-label stock may continue to be sold under certain conditions; our rollout ensures full compliance well in advance of regulatory deadlines.

Next steps

Keep an eye out for the new labels arriving at your distributor or directly from Nielsen. We’ll also be launching updated product downloads, Technical Data Sheets (TDS) and training resources to match the new brand look.

We believe this evolution will help our customers in professional automotive, commercial vehicle, body-shop and industrial settings to enjoy not only outstanding performance from our products but also confidence in compliance, clarity and safety.
